The school and holiday programmes of KinderKulturMonat were celebrated with two final exhibitions on the 13th and 17th October 2014 at Young Arts Neukölln. The Kids Showcase Berlin exhibitions presented the products made by 240 schoolchildren between the ages of eight and twelve that participated in various workshops.
The fabulous presentations of the creativity of Berlin’s youth were bundled into a large children’s exhibition in Riga's Pupils Palace from the 20th till 27th November 2014.
The exhibition consisted of 13 different projects, each with numerous artworks: from large format paintings to installations, videos, sculptures and a science laboratory. The exhibition was oriented towards Riga children and their families, as well as teachers, journalists, politicians and the partners of KinderKulturMonat in Riga. The exhibition also documented the large scope of the projects and illustrated how it was possible to successfully get younger generations to become interested, and at times even passionate about art.
